Excellent co-educational five and seven day boarding

The St Peter's College Hostel

A message from our Manager:

"As Manager I am proud to offer a unique combination of boarding options at St Peter's Hostel.  Our Hostel has blended the need for peer groups big enough to form life-long friendships and remain small enough so that all students are known individually.

Our staff are enthusiastic, motivated and committed to caring for young people.

Extending the College's theme of 'Preparation for Life!' our Hostel runs a comprehensive life-skills programme, and we take great care in supporting all of our students' talents.  We have students participating and succeeding in a diverse array of sports, cultural and academic pursuits.

Parents of St Peter's Hostel students are welcomed, and involved in every aspect of Hostel life. The Hostel Board of Governors is made up largely of parents and we meet regularly. Parents are kept informed about Hostel life and their sons and daughters, with phone calls, letters and regular newsletters."

The boarding establishment, like the College, takes boys and girls, and provides the opportunity for young people to live away from home but still in a Christian community.

Every effort is made to provide the environment of the traditional Catholic family in which these young people can mature in the exercise of their faith. They are also guided into sound relationships with their peers.

Each boarder is expected to make a positive contribution to community life, to comply with the discipline of the hostel and to do his or her share of daily chores.

Run by a full time professional manager, the hostel features:
