Congratulations to all the students who represented St Peter’s College at the first ever Southern Catholic Schools Tournament, hosted by St Kevin’s College in Oamaru over the last two days. The schools that competed were Roncalli College, Timaru; St Kevin's College, Oamaru; Kavanagh College, Dunedin; Verdon College, Invercargill and ourselves.

We had some fantastic results with girls hockey, rugby, boys basketball, and netball all taking several wins over the competition. Unfortunately, as we were not represented in 2 categories of the competition we only came in 4th overall. St Kevin's and Roncalli were 1st Equal and shared the trophy. This was a fantastic event that encompassed all our schools shared special character, sporting culture and passions.

Our Students were fantastic throughout this tournament and were proud Ambassadors for St Peter's College. A big thank you to Chris Karena, Cherie McMillan, Russell Morton, Margret Dickie and Paul Russell who accompanied our staff for this exchange and coached our teams.
