Only 17 days to go until the fantastic St Peters College School Fair.  Organisation is well underway, with many fabulous and exciting stalls/events organised for the day. For this Fair to be a huge success we need over 50 volunteers.  We need your help with the following areas.. six people to help with the Baking  (Saturday 9am at the Hostel with Paula O’Connor – this baking is for the Houses to sell), afternoon teas with Sarah Cuttance - three people required (baking to be done at home and brought on the day..two slices, two dozen muffin), Jousting - two people to sell tickets with Lindsay McGuigan, Balloons in the car - two people to sell tickets and three for the Tombola.  If you can help out in anyway please telephone the Main School Office.

The PTFA is extremely grateful and over whelmed by the generosity and support of the businesses from Gore and Riversdale, for our School Fair.

We have many, many fantastic prizes and vouchers. Please support these businesses as without them we could not have our Fair.

House stalls – delicious food, Astro Balls, Tombola, mini jeeps, slug guns, aloha, Chocolate Wheel, jousting, BBQ, running of the balls, hot chips, fabulous raffles, face painting, Filipino food, baleage auction, balloons in the car, two bouncy castles, clowns and all the big “Family entertainment "draw (valued $500)

A big special thanks to all of these amazing adults and students who went out to the businesses canvassing for support and prizes.

Anna Hetaraka, Debbie Shaw, Carmel Bone, Maree Scott, Heather Hetaraka, Barry and Trudy Roughan, Ryan Watkins, Mitchell Poppelwell, Liam Davis, Jack Stanton, Tom McKenzie, Maggie Nicholson, Hannah Conroy, Lucy Swain, Emma Meikle and Alice Diack.

Traditionally, in preparation for the Fair, many of you will remember being asked to donate goods for baking and these were then distributed among the PTFA bakers who created goods for selling at the Fair. A couple of years ago, we decided that there may be an easier way for families. Therefore, as happened last year, we will be having a baking mufti day on Wednesday, 9th March where students are asked to bring $2. This money will then be used to buy groceries needed for the baking which is done at the Hostel kitchen by a wonderful group of volunteers the day before the Fair.

Apologies for asking you to contribute again so soon after the Fijian fundraiser but both are practical ways to show support for community and hope this is not causing too much of a problem for families.
