The PTFA is the school parent group who assist the school in a large number of events including our main school fundraiser ‘the Fair’.

The Fair generates a huge income for the PTFA and St Peter’s, and is well worth the effort for one day of the year. To make it a success we need helpers, lots of them!  We need about 70 helpers to run all the stalls in a way that allows people to do a stint of an hour or three.   Often a group of three or four friends take on a whole stall and have it running like clockwork, taking turns to hit the stalls for a bargain.  We count on parent support on the day for the success of the fair both for running it and simply attending.

Some jobs are able to be done prior to Fair day, such as growing of plants that we can sell in our plant stall, baking, or organising equipment amongst many other things. Closer to the time we will post a list of jobs that need to be filled on the St Peter’s Facebook page and you can pick the job and time you are available to help.  

The PTFA needs more parents who can assist in any way and warmly invite anyone to join the meetings which are held monthly in the school Library.
