On 11th May the Year 13 Biology group headed to the Aquarium in Portobello. There they spent three days studying crabs in the lab. The learning was initially about crabs and their behaviour and then the students chose a research topic to focus on for the next two days. The students also spent two evenings on Quarantine Island exploring.
Mrs Grogan and the Biology group wishes to thank Mr Jack and Jock Cummings who kindly took time out of their busy schedules to drive the buses and accompany the group, thus making the trip possible. Thanks also to Nadine Terry from Rosmini House who took all the stress out of the catering!
