In 2017 only year 7, 8 and 9 students are required to have a device at school.  This is optional for all other students but, a growing number of students are bringing in devices and a growing number of subject areas are using cloud based resourcing.

Owing to the rapid advance in technology, it is likely that most students will need two devices over their time at college from years 7 – 13.  This is particularly so if at year 11 a student chooses to take Technology or Arts subjects.

Please note that the College is using Microsoft 365, and many applications that students will need to use will be Microsoft based.

While families are free to choose where to purchase devices, St Peter’s has worked with Noel Leeming Gore, and there are some devices which have been stocked and are available locally.  We will notify families of these when whenever this information is updated and received.

Please find below the recommended specifications for devices.

Storage (Hard Drive):     16GB
