Foundation Dinner

The St Peter’s College Foundation Gala Dinner took place on Saturday 14th May in the James Cumming Wing in Gore.

Old friends were reunited and enjoyed a trip down memory lane with a photo display from Brother Ted’s photo archive from the 1970s and 80s.

Fr. Aidan Cunningham was MC for the night and had a stream of amusing anecdotes to keep everyone entertained.  A delicious buffet meal was served after Grace by Bishop Colin Campbell.  Speaker, Fr. Michael Hill spoke about his time at St Peter’s, followed by Kate Nicholson the present principal who outlined a potential Foundation project for the 50th Anniversary of the school in January 2019 (more details on this to follow).  Ex-pupil John Gallaher called on the Foundation to rally round the school and support an ambitious Anniversary project, as well as ensuring continued support for pupils at the school.

Ex-pupil Katrina Bristow then entertained with music and song and everyone had an opportunity to catch up with ex staff and pupils who had come from all over the South Island.

Rugby Fundraising

Hi All

I've recently taken over the St Peter's College Rugby Club fundraising, the clubs books balance each year, however we have some old expenses and some future extras the Fijian scholarship students we need to take care of, boots, gym, trips etc.

We are having a baleage/Hay auction at the School Fair on the 20th March and are seeking donations as well as potential bidders!

If you can help in either way contact.
