The St Peter's College Fair is a successful and long-standing tradition at our school. It is a fantastic family day out for people in the Gore area. Money raised in the past has gone towards the purchase of the school mini van, extra sewing machines, sports uniforms, the playground, gazebo, amongst many other things.
We appreciate individuals, students, parents, staff and businesses who give time, money, donations and goods for the stalls. Without this kind of support we would be unable to have a school fair.
Due to the busy-ness of senior pupils and general school schedules in spring the PTFA have decided to shift the fair timing from spring to autumn. This means skipping the 2014 Fair. It will be run again in 2015, with business as usual.
Give us part of ONE day a year: You can help make the fair a success by volunteering your time to help set up the area on the Saturday, baking, or run a stall with friends on the Sunday. The PTFA will be posting a list of jobs where we need extra hands, on the school Facebook page. It’s fun being involved, you get plenty of time to cruise the stalls yourself, and you can feel good that you are helping make a success of the schools biggest fundraiser for the year.
