All the very best to Samantha Marsh and George Horrell who leave this week to attend Karate Camp, held in Japan. We look forward to hearing all about your adventure once you return.
A huge congratulations to Freya Bools and Mya Robinson (both Year 13) who have been selected for the Southland United 17th Grade Girls’ Football Squad to attend the South Island Tournament in October. Well done girls!

The 9A Netball team would like to thank everyone who has supported them in their fundraising efforts prior to travelling to Christchurch to compete during the first week of the July holidays. In particular, the team would like to acknowledge the generous support of Ewan Allan Honda, Blue Sky Meats, MLT and the Gore RSA.
To make a change from past years, we intend that both our main sporting codes head to Brisbane and the Gold Coast during the Easter holidays, 2020. Although they will have their own itinerary, there will be some time spent together sightseeing and possibly playing the same school. At this stage, the Netball tour is open to Year 12 and 13’s in 2020 (year 11’s may be given the option if numbers allow; we will confirm this early Term 3). The rugby tour is open to Year 11-13 boys in 2020. More details will be emailed very soon. Please email your interest to find out more to firstname.lastname@example.org.
A huge congratulations to Ethan Mitchell and Taylor Peterson (Year 12’s) who have been selected for the U17 Southland Basketball team and will be heading to the National Tournament these school holidays to compete in North Habour. Good luck boys and well done on your success.
