Well done to the boys who competed in the U15 Boys Premier Hockey Tournament held in Whangerei. The St Peter’s boys combined with some Invercargill boys to make up the Southland Under 15 Boys Hockey team.
The team played extremely well together and although not winning any games, they made the supporters proud of them and proud to be from Southland. The team showed resilience and respect. A huge thanks to Martin Mackereth and Kevin O'Kane who coached the team and Aidan Friend was the Manager.
Congratulations to Dixie-Leigh Burr and Lauryn Pinckney who have been named in the Southland U15 Girls 7s team that will travel to Timaru in early November to compete in a South Island tournament. Great work girls!

St Peter’s A Grade finished their season at the NZ Rugby Festival in Queenstown. This was a great way to end a very successful season. The students had so much fun and got the opportunity to develop their rugby.
Our boys team played some very good teams from Rotorua, Canterbury and Auckland and had some hard games.
Congratulations boys for your great team spirit! The school community and families are very proud of you.
As pictured, they won two awards one being the Under 13 Grade team ‘Fairest and Best’ and Ryan Davers won the Under 13 ‘Best and Fairest Player’ - (which was chosen by the referees) . Well done boys!
