Kia ora e te whānau

As we approach the joyous celebration of Easter, I hope you all have a lovely short break from the busyness of work and school. May this sacred season be filled with blessings of renewal, hope, and the boundless love of our risen Lord. At St Peter’s College, Easter holds a special significance for us, not only as a religious observance but also as a time to reflect on the values that define us as a community. Our commitment to fostering a culture of compassion and unity continues to be the cornerstone of everything we do.

This Easter, let us reaffirm our dedication to these core values:

Community: Easter is a time when we come together as a community, united in faith and fellowship. It is a reminder that we are stronger when we support and uplift one another. Let us cherish the bonds that unite us and strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.

Commitment: Just as Jesus showed unwavering commitment to his mission, we are called to demonstrate dedication and perseverance in our pursuit of excellence. Let us recommit ourselves to the pursuit of knowledge, truth, and personal growth, knowing that our efforts today will shape the leaders of tomorrow.

Compassion: Easter exemplifies the ultimate act of compassion – the sacrifice made out of love for humanity. As members of the St Peter’s College family, let us emulate this spirit of compassion in our interactions with others. Let us extend kindness and empathy to those in need and seek to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

As we gather with our loved ones to celebrate this sacred season, may we be filled with gratitude for the blessings we have received and inspired to share our gifts with others. May the joy of Easter fill our hearts and homes with peace, love, and happiness.

Wishing you and your families a blessed and holy Easter!
