Earlier this month, three ‘Gold’ Duke of Edinburgh students, Eve McKenzie, Molly Gray and Ruby Miller completed their Practice Adventurous Journey. They walked a 55 kilometre section of the Otago Rail Trail between the Hyde railway memorial and Wedderburn. This included a 25 kilometre walk on the second day. Conditions were hot, dry and windy. Thanks goes to Mr and Mrs Ryan for coming along as the supervising party.
