This week was very special as we recognised the outstanding recipients of the Young Rotary Achievers Awards along with the many students who were runners up to the awards. With so many amazing young people it was a shame we could only pick three. These talented young individuals have not only excelled academically but have also demonstrated an unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in our community. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and their dedication to serving others. The runners up who all received St Peter’s College badges are:

Augusta Howden

Lola Gray
William Templeton

Siam Kelly
Shavni Permal
Roxanne Dickson

The three recipients who will attend the Rotary Young Achievers Awards dinner on Monday night with their families are:

Madelyn Chittock

Max Wiegersma

In addition to honouring our outstanding achievers, I was excited to see the experiences our Year 10 students are currently enjoying at the Borland Lodge camp. This action-packed adventure camp is not only a testament to the enthusiasm and energy of our students but also a reflection of the collaborative efforts of our dedicated staff and parent volunteers. Their commitment to our school values of community, compassion, and commitment is truly inspiring.

At Borland Lodge, our students are not only having a fantastic time but also learning important life skills, fostering friendships, and creating lasting memories. It is heartwarming to witness the sense of camaraderie and teamwork among our students, staff, and parent volunteers. Together, they are embodying the spirit of community, compassion, and commitment that defines our school.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to our staff and parent volunteers for their tireless efforts in making the Borland Lodge camp a memorable and enriching experience for our students. Your dedication and support is invaluable, and we are fortunate to have such a caring and committed community.

As we continue to celebrate our students' achievements, and the spirit of community that permeates our school, I am filled with pride and gratitude. Thank you for your ongoing support, which enables us to nurture and inspire the next generation of compassionate leaders.
