Dear Parents and Caregivers,
During the school holidays the raffle card and an accompanying letter will be mailed home with school reports. As outlined in an email last week, funds will go towards a new school van. Last year families were very supportive and over $10,000 was raised. We received huge support from families and businesses within our school community following an email last Monday, 15th June asking for donations towards our raffle. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors for their generosity. A list of the sponsors is provided at the end of the letter. We encourage all families to support this fundraiser and show your thanks to the sponsors by selling your raffle card.
We would appreciate it if every family could contribute to this fundraiser by selling one raffle card and returning the card and the money in the enclosed money bag no later than Friday 31st July. It is important that all cards are accounted for, so please ensure the cards come back to school even if you are unable to sell the full card; this saves the PTFA Committee a lot of time in ringing home to remind families to return the cards.
House Points are awarded for every full card sold. The sooner the cards are returned the more house points are earned. The 2 houses with most cards sold will receive bonus points.
Incentives: The 1st class to sell all their tickets will receive a scrumptious morning tea kindly donated by Jo Holland and her team at “Food Affair”.
Family Incentives: Students can collect extra cards from the school office. The families who sell the most full raffle cards will go in to a draw to win a prize. We will not issue extra cards until the first cards are sold and returned.
Raffles will be drawn under Police Supervision. Winners will be notified and names published in The Ensign.
Thank you to the following sponsors (in no particular order):

Many thanks also to the PTFA Committee, parents and staff in our school community who helped with the organisation this year.
