All year 10 parents will have received an email detailing next terms ‘Real Game’ experience for Year 10’s. It begins on Tuesday, 17th October and finishes with a career day on Thursday, 19th October. Students are to wear their school uniform. It will be held offsite so students are to take their lunch on the first day, lunches are provided for days 2 and 3. The Real Game is designed to emphasise the value of all work and the importance of on-going education, adaptability and positive attitudes. The Real Game programme is designed to introduce a wide range of available occupations. The game gives them a chance to grapple with and understand the nature of the social and economic changes affecting the world of work. The students also design business cards and create a CV.
