Pastoral Team
At St Peter's, we aim for students to form supportive relationships with a range of caring adults on staff. By doing so, the hope is that these relationships will foster personal wellbeing and develop resiliency in the world.
Our pastoral team and processes therefore, are wide reaching and sit with a range of staff so as to make best use of the relationships your child will develop as they move through the school. The best people to contact should a problem arise, will depend on the type of concern being raised and who you suspect may be most influential. Most concerns can be directed to your students' Form Teacher or even subject teacher if it relates to a learning related issue. They will often be in touch with the appropriate Learning Tutor who is an over-view of the year level concerned. Senior Leaders such as Darren Jack (Deputy Principal), Bridget Ryan (Assistant Principal) or Tara Quinney (Principal) are also available to discuss any issue at any time. The other very integral part of our team and specialist in pastoral guidance, is our Guidance Counsellor, Catherine Baldock, who is able to be accessed at any point in the pastoral process.
Essentially then, there is no 'wrong person' to talk to or 'matter too small', what matters to us is that we are aware of issues early and that someone on staff is working closely with the needs of the family and the student for a positive outcome for all.

As the guidance counsellor, it is my privilege to work alongside and support the students of St Peter's College. I provide counselling opportunities for students and their families to enhance student wellbeing.
