Our 9 intrepid Biologists set off to the Marine Studies Centre on Wednesday 14th. We were blessed with great weather for the trip. Each pupil designed their own experiment with guidance and collected data relating to crab behaviour in response to environmental changes. We were treated to the spectacle of a large octopus (a new resident) catching a crab for it's dinner!
We had our usual stay on Quarantine Island, this was a bit chilly overnight, but we had smooth crossings there and back.
A huge thank you to Mrs Mandy Pearce who accompanied the group.
