For the past few months, Mr Blakie and Isaac Breen (Year 12) have been working on a donated Datsun 1500 ute. The plan was to get this 'shed-find' vehicle back to a point where it was up and running, and then sell it on to raise funds for a potential St Peter's mechanics workshop. Unfortunately, the mighty Datsun is a bit past saving as a complete ute. Plan B is to strip the vehicle for parts and in that way, generate some funds to go towards the workshop goal. So, if you are on the look-out for a classic Datsun engine, transmission, a useful ute-tray or other bits and bobs, we may have a deal for you!
