On Sunday, 7th September, Lily Wiegersma and Charlotte McVicar competed in the Tri New Zealand Secondary Schools Duathlon Championships at Teretonga Park in Invercargill.
Lily came an impressive 1st place in the U13 Girls’ race, completing Run 1 (2km), Bike (7.8km), and Run 2 (2km) in a time of 35:59 minutes.
Charlotte also had a fantastic race, finishing 3rd place in the U16 Girls’ category. She completed Run 1 (3.5km), Bike (15.6km), and Run 2 (2.5km) in a time of 1:00:56.
