With the arrival of warmer weather and longer days the Adventurous Journey section of 'Duke of Ed' is swinging back into life. This week, our Silver girls' group has been traversing the Hokonui hills from Glenure to Dolamore Park over two nights and three days, and the boys' group will follow in their footsteps next week. We also have two Bronze parties doing an overnight tramp on Crosshill Farm in the Hokonui this Friday and next Friday.
A huge thanks to all the landowners for letting us on their properties. A Silver trip along the Te Araroa Trail as it passes through the Takitimu Mountains is on the cards for the start of December.
Special congratulations go to the following students who have recently received their certificate of completion and badge for Bronze: Josh Thompson, Jude Terry, and Oliver and Lachlan Gray.
