On Saturday, it was the conclusion of the Netball Eastern Southland Netball competition. Finals Day is always a highlight of the season and this year did not disappoint. We had 10 out of 13 competing in their respective grade finals and playoffs; some of our teams were facing off against each other. The Senior A's won the Premier Grade - Section Two with a convincing win over Blue Mountain Senior A. They also picked up the Popenhagen Family Trophy for Top High School Team. The 8A's won Third Grade - Section Two with a win over the Intermediate B's. The Intermediate Red's were victorious over the Senior Blue in the Stirling Sports Fourth Grade. The 8B's finished 2nd in Sixth grade losing to Longford B in their final. The Senior B's also finished 2nd in the 1st Reserve grade - Section 2. The Intermediate A's finished 3rd in 1st Reserve grade - Section 1 with a dominant performance over Gore High B. Senior Red had a nailbiting win over Blue Mountain Senior 1 to clinch 3rd in Third Grade - Section One. In Fifth Grade - the 7A's after an outstanding season had a tough day at the office (racked with sickness) and finished 4th.

Popenhagen Family Trophy - St Peter's Senior A

Shelly Miller Memorial Trophy - St Peter's Intermediate White

O'Connor Trophy - Premier Grade Highest Goal Shooting Average - Maegan Davis 89.67%

Karena Family Trophy - St Peter's Senior A

Netball Eastern Southland Centre Trophy - St Peter's 8A

Winner - Fourth Grade - St Peter's Intermediate Red

Runner Up - June Wilson Trophy - St Peter's Senior Blue

Runner Up - Diane White Trophy - St Peter's 8B
