It was awesome to see our Year 7/8 girls' team have their first game at home on Monday afternoon. These young ladies are embarking on their rugby careers under the guidance of Coach Elliot and Manager Bridget.
They had a successful first game and now realise what the game of rugby entails. We saw some excellent tackling and defending of the ball - this group of wahine have lots of promise! Try and get along to one of their Monday night fixtures over the next 4 weeks.
We wish all those participating and representing SPC with pride and positivity an enjoyable tournament. We have both boys and girls participating in rugby tournament over the next few weeks.
