The International Chemistry Quiz is being held by the Royal Australian Chemistry Institute between the 4th and 8th of August. Entry is open to all students from Year 7 to 13, with 30 questions to be answered in one hour. It is an excellent opportunity for students to test their knowledge of chemistry, how it can be applied to real-world scenarios and see how they compare with students around the globe.
Quiz content changes each year but will always cover designing and reporting on experiments into how chemicals behave and react.
Registrations close on July 23rd – any interested students should see Mr Blakie for more information on what might be in the quiz for their year level and how to enter.
