Kia Ora Whanau
Well it certainly has been a busy week with Senior Course Interviews taking place, where parents and students have been discussing next years Options which students have selected. The feedback from the teachers involved mentioned that it was lovely to see all the parents supporting their children with their chosen subjects.
This week was one of many where I met parents of new students who will be starting next year. It is great to see them all so enthusiastic and we welcome the new families to our St Peter’s Community.
NCEA exams begin for our students today. As parents it is important to encourage and support your children to ensure that they are consistent and study effectively. If they find it challenging to study at home they are welcome to come into school and we will give them a quiet space to work in. We also have tutorials which teachers have offered and this information has been emailed home and was sent as an alert on the School App. Please encourage them to take advantage of this if you feel it would benefit them. Habits formed now are important and will pay benefits in the future.
Take care and God Bless.
