Kia Ora Whanau This will be the last post for the year and my last as Acting Principal so I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you for your amazing support especially through recent days. Our community is really what sets us apart and allows us to provide the fantastic educational opportunities we do for our children. Your support of staff and the work they do is so very much appreciated. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank our wonderful staff who continue to believe in the potential of all students and work every day to see their success. One of the fantastic examples of student achievement this week has been our first ever ‘Project Based Learning Exhibition Night' held on Wednesday of this week. More will be said later around this night but every parent I spoke to came away amazed and excited for the future of our young people and the potential and talent that they so clearly had on display. This is a credit to the hard work of the students, staff and of course you as parents, as an array of resources arrived on trailers of all descriptions. A huge congratulations must go to Mrs Ryan, the leader of this Project Based Learning initiative of which Wednesday night saw the culmination of something that has been years in the planning. St Peter's College is fortunate indeed to have the quality of staff that lead the country in terms of education development and encourage the very best from our students. Our celebration of prize giving is next Tuesday evening at 7pm at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, which follows on from our Christian Service morning, where the school gets to serve the community as a way of saying thank you. I wish you all the very best over the festive season, that you have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday break and that you take care and return safely for what will be an exciting and dynamic 2020 with our brand new Principal, Tara Quinney. Nga Mihi Nui Kirihimete koa (Merry Christmas) Darren Jack Acting Principal
