Otago University Advanced School Sciences Academy

​Well done to Mia Walton (Year 12) who has been accepted for the Otago University Advanced School Sciences Academy for 2019.  67 places have been offered to students from around New Zealand.  The aim of this academy is to help potentially high achieving Year 13 Science students excel in their final year of secondary school science.  The academy involves two weeks of intensive study in Dunedin and is jointly funded by the Ministry of Education and the University of Otago, as well as access to a mentor from the University as the year progresses.  As Mia is studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics she should gain incredible value from this experience. Well done Mia!
